Frequently asked questions
Do guests need an account?
No. Each guest gets a personal link and replies on the event page, with no login and no password.
What can I ask guests?
Attendance, a plus-one, children, diet and allergies, transport, which parts of the programme they join and which workshops they choose. At a training session, also questions for the speaker. You can add your own questions with a text answer or a list.
What if someone does not reply?
Before the reply deadline, Gluu sends a reminder to everyone who has not replied yet. You can also send a reminder earlier, with a new deadline. The list shows who is still missing.
How do I pass the list to the caterer or the hotel?
Download the list with the replies as a CSV file, or copy it and paste it into Google Sheets. Each question has its own column.
Where is guest data stored?
In the European Union: Gluu’s database and application servers run in Frankfurt. The providers we use, for example for sending email, are listed in the privacy policy.
Is guest management really free?
Yes, with no trial period. Two limits apply: 250 invitations per event and 5 events in preparation at a time. Need more? Write to us and we will agree on terms.
